Michael van Rooyen

CEO

Michael is a respected and well networked leader in the building construction industry with nearly 40 years’ experience both locally and in Africa. He has accumulated the knowledge and skills from being a hands on Site Engineer a delivery and quality driven Operations Director to a strategic profit driven Managing Director of a listed Building Company. Michael founded Gramic construction management consulting to apply his knowledge, skills and experience to provide a focused construction management service to a variety of stakeholders in a challenging construction industry currently on a path of transition. Michael has been a member of a number of Industry Associations and Councils both as a participant and chairman. During his career he has been invited both as a speaker and a participant on discussion panels at various Industry related conferences both in locally and abroad.

Leon Botha

Contracts Manager

Leon is a dedicated and experienced construction professional who has spent the last 20 years living and breathing the industry. His comprehension of the importance of delivering an on-time and on-budget projects and his do or die attitude to to make it happen keeps our clients satisfied.

Grant Reid

Construction contractual consultant

Grant has spent 37 years honing his skills in all sectors including construction and commercial contractual management. Initially as a contractor managing and control of commercial, financial, operational and marketing and as a managing director, strategic objectives and business development. As a result of his preference towards and interest in construction law related matters during the last 10 years he has directed his studies and efforts increasingly in assisting clients in the identification analysis and compilation of construction claims on various types of construction projects. He acts in construction matters in the practice of expert witness. Expert assessor as well a delay analyst. He also acts as an adjudicator and arbitrator in matters. Grant is a Fellow of the Association of Arbitrators, Member of the Project Management Institute and Society of Construction Law.
